A Kerala court has handed down a major verdict, sentencing all six convicted in the 2017 actress assault case to 20 years in prison. The judgment was delivered on Friday, December 12, in Ernakulam by Judge Honey M. Varghese, who named Sunil N.S., widely known as Pulsar Suni, as the main accused. The judge stressed that media pressure had no influence on the decision, stating that courts must balance justice for society and the accused based on the seriousness of the crime, each individual’s background, and the purpose of sentencing.
