The company has introduced its new Honor Magic 8 Pro Air, which seems to be a direct challenge to the iPhone Air.
Although this phone is not expected to be launched outside China and especially in India, but looking at its features, it can definitely be said that Android brands are now preparing to overtake Apple not only in design but also in specifications.
Great combination of Pro and Air
The balance of both ‘Pro’ and ‘Air’ is seen in Honor Magic 8 Pro Air. The phone has a triple rear camera setup, which also includes a telephoto lens, which is not found in the iPhone Air. It has a 6.31-inch compact AMOLED display, which comes with 120Hz refresh rate and in-display fingerprint sensor.
Talking about design, this phone is only 6.1mm thin and its weight is only 155 grams. In comparison to Apple, Honor has also provided stereo speakers and physical SIM slot in it, which is not present in iPhone Air.

Strong performance and big battery
Honor Magic 8 Pro Air has the option of MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. This phone runs on MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.
Despite being so thin, it has a large battery of 5,500mAh, which supports 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. Besides, the phone has also got IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance rating.

Unlike iPhone Air, Honor has also introduced this phone in orange color option. Inspired by this trend, Vivo is also bringing a similar design in its X300 FE model. The trend which was started by iPhone Air, now Android brands seem to be making it more powerful in their own style.
