Why are opposition leaders ignoring Sharad Pawar’s appeal?

Seeing a conspiracy behind every accident has become a mental illness of the opposition.
Opposition leaders have now made it a habit to use every accident against the government. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has joined Mamata Banerjee’s voice. Referring to the old plane crash in Ahmedabad, he has demanded an investigation. Kharge Saheb should understand that flying a plane has its own technical process.

In which direction does the opposition want to take the country by expressing no confidence in government agencies?
Mamata Banerjee’s statement that ‘she has faith only in the Supreme Court’ is a very dangerous signal. This means that they have no faith in institutions like police, investigation bureau and DGCA. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav also justified it. Citing old VIP accidents, he has asked for a fair investigation.
This may be a way to show opposition unity but the method is very wrong. When the head of the house himself is saying not to do politics, then why are people outside shouting? Do these leaders think that the general public is not understanding their tactics? The public is seeing how a death is being used to create an election atmosphere.

The insensitivity of the opposition and the falling graph of politics.
The opposition may lack issues but its lack of sensitivity is worrying. BJP leaders have rightly said that Mamata Banerjee has lost her humanity. It is not right for any civilized society to do such dirty politics when there is mourning in someone’s house. Anil Desai of Shiv Sena (UBT) is also now raising questions on the number of chartered planes and technical faults.
There is nothing wrong in raising questions, but the timing and intention of raising questions is seen. The priority at this time should have been to express condolences. But the opposition has taken this as an opportunity to corner the government. This shows that human values no longer matter to the leaders of our country. They just have to remain in the headlines somehow.

Is doing politics over dead bodies the last option left for the opposition?
There has always been a sense of decorum in Indian politics. There were differences of opinion among the leaders but in times of sorrow everyone was seen together. But in the last few years this dignity has become tenuous. The kind of circus that has started on the death of Ajit Pawar is scary.
Opposition leaders have probably forgotten that their insistence is like rubbing salt on the wounds of Sharad Pawar and his family. If the Supreme Court starts investigating every case then other institutions should be closed. The opposition has to understand that by calling everything a conspiracy, they are losing their credibility. People have now stopped taking his statements seriously.
Opposition is necessary in politics but its basis should be solid. Calling any accident ‘murder’ or ‘conspiracy’ without any evidence is to spread anarchy. This not only insults the deceased but also lowers the morale of the investigating agencies. The opposition now needs to introspect. They should think whether they really want justice or just want to make noise. Politics has its place and sentiments have their place. Mixing both is dangerous for the society. Ajit Pawar’s family needs peace and support at this time and not court statements.
